Natal Saturn in 12th House
This is a short post on the position of Natal Saturn in 12th House, its natal chart interpretation and influence on the evolution of the soul.
The Twelfth House is the final house in the astrological wheel and is where the soul merges with the oneness of spirit. It is also linked to hidden enemies, places of confinement (prisons, institutions), power struggles and the transformation of the subconscious into the conscious.
It is closely associated with Pisces, which in turn is co-ruled by Jupiter and Neptune and so having Saturn in your twelfth house can seem a placement which can give you some difficulties. Saturn is concerned with individuality, boundaries, discipline, structure, control, self- analysis, including self-doubt, whereas Neptune wants to connect you with spirit through dissolving boundaries, and Jupiter is expands everything it touches.
Courtesy of Saturn in this placement you have a sense of isolation, and disconnection which can occur on different levels, both within yourself, your spiritual self and personality, and with society at large.
Despite these contrary energies, you have a wonderful opportunity for soul growth by integrating the two and shifting your sense of self away from the duality of the world and into the boundless nature of spirit, residing in the stillness and security of all that is.
Working through blocks on any level within your personality is possible here. They may be either physical, emotional or mental and can be connected to the places of confinement mentioned above.
There are qualities of Saturn that can help you in this process of releasing that which is holding you back from realising your true potential as a spiritual being and a person who can be content in life.
Using Saturn’s desire for structure and discipline can be directed into a spiritual practice such as meditation, esoteric study or other forms of self-development instead of dwelling it its tendency to cause separation and self-doubt.
