John Yarr: The Fullness of the Void

This article, titled  ‘John Yarr: The Fullness of the Void’ contains the PDF of the 1998 second edition of the book. It was originally printed by the Lifewave Light and Sound Meditation Organisation in 1986. I have tried to emulate the format of the first edition which was far superior in its presentation.  The second edition also contains core philosophical statements which are not included here and were not in the first edition either. The PDF can be viewed at the end of the introduction of the book . The introduction also changed from the first edition, but the original introductio is given below.

INTRODUCTION

The true Perfect Master promises and gives complete Enlightenment. This is an absolute state of infinite awareness beyond all limits. It is our real identity. This great illumination was sought by the Buddha, yogis of the forests, western mystics, philosophers and sages. It is beyond the instruments of modern science and the limited understanding of psychology. Its value is supreme. This book comprises some of the sayings of Ishvara, the Master for this time. He is direct and uncompromising, with good reason. He knows that life is short and each moment must be used to good effect.

In the interest of those wanting Truth this introduction discusses the nature of spirituality (including how we can recognise a genuine Master), the presence of Ishvara, and the role of the Lifewave Organisation.

Spirituality is not religion, mysticism, seances and mediumship, peculiarities of dress, a mental activity, an isolationist attitude or lifestyle. laziness, nor an escape from life. Spirituality is and has always been the direct revelation and sure knowlege of the soul, the innermost and divine Self within man. Such revelation is superconscious and transcends the limits of the known universe. It has nothing to do with faith, hope, aspiration or dogma: it is either certain knowledge or it is not there at all.

This unique vision clearly requires two things. A person who can transmit it and a person suited to receive it. The first is a living Master, one who has perfected the art of giving perfection. There is no one more valuable to humanity, and none more rare. Ishvara is such a Master. We give below tests by which the seeker can know whether or not he has himself found a Master.

First; does the Teacher reveal other worlds in the form of light and sound from a source outside the physical cosmos? Not mantras or mandalas, not

breathing exercises or prayers, not thoughts or feelings, not imagination, not revelations while asleep or in other states of veiled consciousness, but direct knowledge of the soul while the follower is fully awake and aware.

Second; are practical and valuable observances demanded of the seeker or is he hedged round with constraints so difficult that while knowledge is promised it is never in fact given since the seeker cannot hope to fulfil the conditions asked?

Third; are there others who have received this revelation: has the Master made good His claim?

Fourth and hardest; have any of His followers attained Enlightenment? Remembering that Enlightenment is the complete realisation that the seeker is infinite, absolute, beyond birth and death, totally free and limitless. This blissful state is far beyond the conceptions of the greatest modern thinkers who place false limits on mankind and the advancement of humanity. Also be wary of those who claim to have been Enlightened after a day or week of practice, or humanitarian endeavour and a deep care of humanity is essential to its pursuit. And finally it calls for intelligence, not a bookish repetition of facts and theories, but a mental willingness to review and investigate the prejudices, preconceptions, biases and ideas imparted to us by society. The seeker needs pers self-responsibility, love and intelligence — in demonstration not simply aspiration.

The great occultist Helena Blavatsky at the end of the last century predicted the coming of a Perfect Master in 1975, the year Ishvara started to teach. Since then, and up to this time, over 40 of His many followers have attained Enlightenment, an unparalleled number and the fullest proof of His teachings. He makes it possible in one lifetime to attain and transcend the spiritual knowledge of all the great teachers and yogis of the past. The Lifewave Organisation was set up by Him as the means to spread His teachings as widely as possible. This wisdom is extended to all, regardless of race, class or religion provided they meet the requirements expected of the seeker. His is the direct path that fulfils all that it promises. Ishvara opens the door between the finite and the infinite.
