A Practical Study of Past Lives & Reincarnation Part 4

This article entitled ‘A Practical Study of Past Lives & Reincarnation Part 4 is the last in a 4 part series covering an extensive project by the Lifewave Meditation Group in the 1980s. Various people (who had been Initiated into the Spiritual Light and Sound) were regressed back to previous lives and this process revealed extensive information on the development of their own soul as well as information about the spiritual planes of consciousness and The Hierarchy of Beings. Their names have been removed to preserve anonymity.

SUBJECT 10

(PRE-HISTORIC MAN)

Man’s psychic nature developed in quite strange world eras. More accurately the world developed because of the different vehicles that man centred in at the time. Now consider some of the effects of passing into a less dense prehistoric earth nearly ten million years ago. The main effect is for there to be less gravity, thus man was far taller at this time. Consider this account by Subject 10, a student from Southampton.

 

“In this lifetime I am a giant. I am fairly well formed in a humanoid shape. I seem to be floating rather than walking, being fifty feet high. I have blue skin, a very thin elongated body with thin fingers, limbs and a long head, (similar to the Easter Island heads which were later). My psychological make up is quite different, I can work things out very clearly. I can also leave my body and astral travel to other planets. This is important because I need to bring energies to earth from them. I have many powers including healing emissions of electrical energy coming from my fingers. I also have telepathic links with others of my kind. The earth is quite unformed at this time being shrouded in a blue mist lit by floating orbs of red, blue and yellow. It is definitely quite astral, a bit dream-like.I do not appear to eat in this body, nor sleep. There is so much energy here freely available without needing to resort to this. I live for about 1000 years.”

 

It is interesting to see in this account how there is a reference to the Easter Island Statues. Scattered around the earth today are artefacts, from many eras gone by. Light is shone upon the full implication of these when we consider Past Life Regression. New attention can also be turned to the legends of strange civilisations such as Atlantis and Lemuria so hotly disputed by science. Indeed such civilisations did exist but at such a distance in time that it is little wonder that no real evidence can be found for them.

The giant, just mentioned, belongs to the crossover in the transition between Atlantis and Lemuria, roughly fifteen million years ago. It should once again be stressed that though this seems unacceptable, it must be seen in the light of a very different Earth structure. It is one of those perfect paradoxes for which no evidence remains due to the ethereal nature of the earth, and the distance in time, sealing off wonderful knowledge to man’s concrete mind.

From the ‘far memory’ of Past Life Regression we can see a time scale stretching back from now for some three million years to the present races of man. Atlantis comes next lasting from three to fifteen million years, and Lemuria from fifteen to forty million years. Finally the very formative Earth phases from forty to sixty million years ago. Of course such periods are approximate due to the different ‘time system’ operating in these ages. The great thing is that we are dealing with definite ‘eras’ in which physically different races existed. Naturally the races ‘run’ into one another as they develop and change, but definite ‘cut offs’ are present.

The present humanity is marked as beginning with the pyramid construction in what is now Egypt. Significantly quite definite changes were wrought on the surface of the Earth for this development. One such change was brought by the pyramids which, as remarked upon earlier, were used to amplify energies entering the planet. Thus the change could be accomplished from Atlantean man to present day man. Going back farther by twelve million years we arrive at the period of stone circle building at the end of Lemuria, another ‘changeover’ point.

 

 

SUBJECT 11

(EARLY ATLANTIAN MAN)

Atlantean man was, towards the end, very human in shape although keeping some of the height of his giant ancestry. Other facets of this era were interesting; we have the following account from Subject 11, a Doctor from Bournemouth.

“I appear to be a soldier of some sort, yet I am about twenty feet tall! It is curious, I have a strange sexuality in that I am a hermaphrodite. Although with mainly male characteristics, I have a feninine nature as well. I can see that my colleagues vary from quite male beings to much more female. My purpose here is to protect the townspeople from huge sea creatures that come and overrun the land.”

The time for this account is six million years ago and, interestingly, is reflected in folklore tales of hermaphrodite peoples. The densification of the earth is well progressed bringing a shortening in the size of man, due to the increase in gravity. The sexuality of man at this time is surprising but is again due to density. With density comes diversity and it is worth saying that present day earth is the most complex place ever witnessed. Early man lived a simple life, his nature was simple, because it was more ethereal. So one more sign of spirit is simplicity, meaning a state of ‘being’ rather than the mad rush we know of today. Polarity has also increased with time. In Atlantis the poles of man, the sexes, simply were not so well defined.

The Atlantean age was to bring to fruition the astral nature giving an example of the features we have earlier discussed. The projection from the mind of the world created the huge bodies of water overlying the earth at this time. This is a direct result of this astral development, not for nothing is astral/emotional matters thought of as watery, to be ruled by the moon.

 

Subject 12

(LATE ATLANTIAN MAN)

In twelve million years some variety in this race is to be expected. This account from Subject 12, a business student from Spain, is of interest.

“I am a man in Atlantis, collecting seaweed from the sea for food. I live completely alone on a beach with many rocks in a cave. I have a human type body, except that my hands and feet are webbed for swimming, I spend a lot of time in the water. I do astral travelling to explore new areas of land.”

This life is four million years ago in a much different body to that of the earlier soldier. The Atlantean race contained several sub-races, the soldier and ‘fish’ man being but two of them. From other accounts it is interesting to find a presence of giant types as late as three million years ago, hangovers from Lemuria, actually building the pyramids. A certain amount of intermingling is to be expected, indeed the earth then was ethereal enough to support such giants although they belonged to a different race. Each race, being a series of energies playing themselves out, can only be expected to last for a certain time. Not so different from some animals today, which, although they started to die out long ago, will still last some time yet. Each life impulse enters existence, comes to fruition and then fades away. We have already said that each race of man is for a specific purpose, that of developing the psychic faculties. It would be impossible for any of today’s human activities to take place in the way they do without the millennia of development gone by. The very creation we look at, the body we have and most of all the mind we use all owe their existence to the sometimes weird and wonderful races of old!

Such an effect makes us look a little deeper, seeing that the auras or energies surrounding man are capable of absorbing this information. When we examined personal karma earlier on, the same effect was noticed. In a very subtle way present day life is like a vast racial karma that has been absorbed thousands, if not millions of years ago. Mainly this applies to the psychic faculties of the mind, where each individual is dimly aware of previous powers he has had. But one can also see in our present day attachment to technology a shadow of a past gone by which was unfulfilled. The Atlanteans had a good knowledge of many of the sciences we know today. A great insight for the world we know it, is like a map projected from the very mind itself, although the keys are a little harder to grasp. To the Jungian psychologist the past races are rather like archetypes for the present; for the body as well as the mind.

 

Subject 13

(LEMURIAN MAN)

The Lemurian era is rather harder to understand, but then it did take place from forty to fifteen million years ago. Probably the best thing is to let this next account speak for itself.

“I am a gas giant, just a bubble of very thin matter. I seem to have a consciousness toward the centre but also have sensations from all over my ‘body’. The earth is cold and dark, there is no sun, just three moons.”

This ‘lifetime’ was about thirty eight million years ago when the earth was just an etheric ball, gas-like in quality. The sun only really started to be visible from earth at the end of Lemuria some sixteen million years ago. Early on in this age there were as many as four moons, their purpose to bring energy to the infant earth. It is hard to imagine such a primeval earth, swathed in mist barely distinguishable from the planet itself. Huge bodies of energy, like gas balloons, two hundred feet or more across, just wafting their way across a ghost like surface.

The purpose for these gas giants was to bring energies down into the developing planet. Through them the earth’s early features and solidity started to appear, giving yet another insight into man’s purpose on this planet Earth. It cannot be stressed often enough that it is man’s consciousness that is so powerful as to be able to ‘create’ matter. It is this that is the key to man’s higher development, giving a clue to the kind of innate ability possessed by all.

The difficulty in considering these ‘gas giants’ is of course that they had anything to do with mankind at all. Yet why should it be that the humanoid shape that we know so well would be the ideal form in which our consciousness resides. This is why higher studies are so illuminating because one begins to understand that it is our consciousness that is eternal, common to all existences, whereas the material form changes so very much. Previous studies have never delved back so far to see an earth in the states that we have. In early Lemuria planet earth was in such an ethereal state that it is impossible to consider any other lifeform to have existed there other than our gas giants.

 

Subject 14

(LATE LEMURIAN MAN)

So it is that man’s material body keeps pace very much with the creation that it is developing in. Later Lemuria as it materialised brought with it a different environment and naturally a different type of humanity. Look now at this interesting account from Subject 14, a secretary from Bournemouth.

“This lifetime appears to be at the end of Lemuria. Everything seems to be in a state of flux with rocks which appear to be solidifying. As I study them a strange ball-like object bounced past me. I realise that this is a creature like me! To some extent we seem to be able to change shape according to what we wish to do. It was quite rocky here and there is a playful sense of fun and freedom going over boulders and sinking into the hollows. Travelling at speed was interesting, as gathering forces together, I elongated myself and shot off at quite a rate into the distance. At this time there are no real sexes, procreation often taking place by division, as with single celled creatures.”

Another strange form in the history of man: The body that Subject 14 used there seems rather blob-like, in common really with the earlier gas giants, but as one would expect more solid and therefore smaller. Of course some fifteen million years have passed by during this change. It is interesting to compare these forms with those mentioned by Plato in his works, knowledge evidently acquired from the Egyptian mystery schools to which he once attended.

Movement, in all Lemurian forms, seenis to have been by using will power. Again we have evidence that ‘man’, in these ages, was able to more directly influence his environment, largely due to the less solid nature of it and his body. It is easier to see that the subjects found it difficult to distinguish at times between themselves and their bodies and for that matter their environment. The consciousness of any individual does rest upon an intimate connection with form, we could not see the world around us if we were not connected to it, albeit subtly. Lemurian states show us that ‘consciousness’ extends from a knowable centre associated with the body, be it ‘gas giant’ or ‘blob-state’ and diffuses gradually into the environment. This is why the early races of man could see much clearer that they actually affect the very world of matter itself. The subjects, in returning to Lemuria, could see that as they wished, definite changes occured in the world they lived in.

It is true that the evidence we have here discussed has great implications. We have mentioned the power of man earlier on, yet it is hard to appreciate the extent of this power. Yes, certainly it shows man to have a ‘God-like’ quality, a fact that Lifewave attests in its spiritual schools. But startling, nevertheless to see such a ‘God-like’ nature showing itself in the distant past. It is said that man is a ‘fallen angel’ and one can understand why! We must always remember that the past is a very strong part of the illusion in which we all live, for it can offset the value of the present. Man still possesses all the power he ever did, but we need a strong guidance to realise it!

Well, Lemuria contains so many fascinating insights into man’s origins that it is impossible to cover them all. It is perhaps most profitable to stick to the investigation of mans size and power for it has a direct relation to the spirituality of our present day race. How quickly we are having to throw away our limited ideas of mankind. Three score years and ten, then no more,? Not a bit of it! We have to ask ourselves, where ever does man stop in his forward march? For going backwards in time shows no ‘cut off’ point to human existence either. That must upset the materialists!

 

Subject 15

(MAN INHABITING OTHER PLANETS)

Before Lemuria the next real step is into the planets themselves. If this seems startling, then why should it be? Astrology has been long accepted as a valid science by mystics the world over. Yet if we question philosophically the basis of astrology we come to understand what Past Life Regression demonstrates. If we can be influenced by a heavenly body then a medium must exist through which it can extend. The facts really are very interesting because they show that not only is there a link through the astral psychic states, but mankind has actually lived on the planets themselves.

So taking one step beyond Lemuria we arrive at planetary existences. As we do so we open a chapter of man’s being that is both fascinating and challenging. Challenging because we start to realise that whilst man’s passage through the earth has been long it is a mere flash in the pan of space compared to the planet lives.

To illustrate this we give this account by Subject 15 , a solicitor from Bournemouth.

“One hundred million years ago I lived on Venus, the landscape being quite gaseous and misty. A greenish glow seems to come from the environment. Although I have a vaguely humanoid body I have very little affinity for it using it more like a hotel than anything else. I can clearly see that I have come here from Mercury and have a specific role here. I can clearly see that Earth is shortly to develop and will be a focal point for the development of many ‘beings’ in the solar system. Earth will be a dense planet by our standards and to control its development it will be necessary to actually take bodies there. My life on Venus is very tenuous and quite clear lines of force radiateout to other planets that I can pass along from time to time. It is difficult to estimate but by present day (Earth) standards I am on Venus at least seven million years before returning to Mercury.”

 

This conjures up a state of existence which uses the form of a body according to its convenience. Instead of being bound by a body and experiencing death in the way the later forms do, this planetary being ranges free. Not free to the same degree at all as man can find in higher meditation, but then that is a different affair again. Nevertheless we gain the impression from this type of account, of which there are many, that there is somehow a greater sense of ‘wholeness’ in these earlier existences. The crunch is that it is impossible to regain the freedom that used to be man’s right. Yes, life does seem very small and ‘stuck’ somehow compared to these almost magically elevated states.

CONCLUSIONS

These past conditions all had their purpose in bringing man to the certain point of development he now has. The viewpoint that the planetary states bring to our mind is almost so broad as to be out of sight. Clearly when one passes back to such a past it is possible to see that a plan does exist for the earth, as is hinted at in subject 14’s account. It is all too easy to be romantic about such a thing and could well be used to indulge in escapism. Life after all can be harsh, yet it is unfortunate that mysticism has the overtone of being something to ‘hide’ in. What we have tried to make clear all through this work is that there is a higher potential in man at this present time. After all, this past should just be used to learn about one’s present condition and to broaden the mind. All these past developments have been for the purpose of getting one to ask the six million dollar question WHO AM I ? The final solution to this lies in Higher Meditation for it is this that unlocks all the doors to that most ancient mystery, the riddle of the Soul itself.

Really it is to this that has been pointed to all along. No matter how developed any of the vehicles become there is always the question of what lies behind them, in other words the Soul. Man so easily identifies with his environment that he is unable to know what it is that enables this identification to take place. Whether it be Lenuria, Atlantis or Venus man ‘normalises’ and is unable to appreciate his situation fully. The lives that we have described are literally infinite in their nature, like a carousel turning and turning. The other option is to jump off the carousel through meditation and stop the momentum that forces one through birth after birth. By doing this man comes face to face with the power that lies behind all things, the power that is God.

So we see the completion of two halves of existence here; firstly the development of the receptacle of the Soul, the body or bodies that we have spent our time discussing; secondly the recognition of the soul itself that is known as light eternal. This is something that removes man from birth and death altogether for light, spiritual light in its purest form lies far beyond the worlds of form. The regressions we have discussed rest on the spiritual power of Ishvara, so too and more importantly does the spiritual development that we can but hint at here.
