(i)  Ten Virgins Parable Traditional Story and Meaning

 Ten Virgins Parable : In the Parable of the Ten Virgins, Jesus tells a story about a party of virgins, perhaps bridesmaids for a procession, chosen to participate in a wedding. Each of the ten virgins is carrying a lamp or torch as they await the coming of the bridegroom, which they expect at some time during the night. Five of the virgins are wise and have brought oil for their lamps. Five are foolish and have only brought their lamps.

 

 

At midnight, all the virgins hear the call to come out to meet the bridegroom. Realising their lamps have gone out, the foolish virgins ask the wise ones for oil, but they refuse, saying that there will certainly not be enough for them to share. While the foolish virgins are away trying to get more oil, the bridegroom arrives. The wise virgins then accompany him to the celebration. The others arrive too late and are excluded.

 

(ii) Ten Virgins Parable Mystical Interpretation

Luke 17 :  21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

So since the kingdom of God is within , within us is like 10 virgins.

10 virgins represent the 5 senses negative & the 5 senses positive

This is the nature of the physical duality and our experience.

the 5 senses are sight, taste, touch smell, hearing.

Our actions can be governed from our childhood or previous lives. We have our KARMA.

Jesus taught Karma:

John 9 : 1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

How can a man sin before he was born ? They are implying that he must have sinned to be blind and yet Jesus said that this is NOT the case.

works of God  = karma

Matthew 25 : 1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Buddha taught that there are 10 worlds or aspects of the human mind. This is the same as what is being represented here with the 10 virgins.

 

Who is the bridegroom ? We can look at the macrocosm (Uranus being the planetary bridegroom) or the macrocosm (inside the human body).

 

(iii) Ten Virgins Parable and The Macrocosm

Cosmically Uranus is coming to enter the constellation Aquarius. At that point there will be a wedding. The bride is Gaia (the earth) . Uranus is coming to claim the bride and this is called the NEW AGE. Some people say this is 2010 ,2012. This is zodiacal mythology that predates the bible by thousands of years.

 

 

Aquarius = the man with the pitcher of water = Jesus.

Jesus turned water into wine = pouring spirit out upon the earth.

Luke 22. 10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

So we have identified the bridegroom astrologically, so now we can identify him biblically:

 

(iv) Ten Virgins Parable and The Microcosm

2nd Corinthians 11: 2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

This verse identifies the bridegroom as CHRIST.

chased virgin = no mention of gender here. What it has to do with is the virginity of the MIND NOT THE BODY of the person that treads the spiritual path.

Only in the virgin state can the Christ be born. The emptiness we achieve in meditation makes us ‘like a virgin’ inside as we break our worldly attachments

Back to Matthew :

The virgins take their lamp So are we bringing the lamp which shines the higher light or the lower light.

Psalm: 132 : 17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

this is a positive lamp which can only be taken in meditation

Proverbs 13 : 9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

We can put out the lower lamp light by doing what Jesus said and take no thought.

There is a part of our brain that is represented mystically as The Sun. This is the Pineal Gland. It is the male aspect of the pyramid and sits with the pituitary gland which is the female aspect of the pyramid.

This is why Christ said that when your eye be single that your body will be filled with light.

We will touch the sun (pineal gland) and the clouds (thoughts) will disappear.

Genesis 32: 30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

Back to Matthew the virgins went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Psalm 19 : 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

tabernacle for the Sun which is as a bridegroom coming out of the chamber

Sun = pineal gland of the brain

What is the difference between the foolish virgins and the wise ?

The 5 senses that remain virgin will touch the pineal gland of the brain.

Matthew 25 : 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

foolish ones took no oil

Oil = the Christ essence in your body CHRISM meaning Christ.

It comes from the Claustrum  in the top part of the brain which part comes down and goes to the Pituitary Gland and becomes a white milky substance

The rest goes to the pineal gland & becomes a golden yellow substance

This is the land of Milk and Honey !

The ancients called this the Holy Claustrum as this is where Gods gifts came from.

It then became Saint Claustrum

Then the Holy Claus to Santa Claus bringing gifts from the North Pole

When that Chrism spills out in abundance without discipline, there is no oil to light the lamp.

When we are going to meditate, abstain from sexual intercourse, allow some oil to be in the lamp.

This oil comes up the spinal column and touches the pineal and the sun shines in our life as the Christ appears.

No oil in the lamp = our energies are dispersed in the lower mind.

oil = life force, prana.

Matthew 25: 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

there are times when we need to sleep, it is the human element in all of us.

bridegroom tarried

James 4 : 2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

We have to find the truth for ourselves

 

Buddha said the lower we go in our nature the more animal like we become and we become more predictable like them. We can then easily become trapped by society because people know what turns us on/off. Advertising is a classic example.

Only in meditation can you ask for the bridegroom and dispatch the 5 wise virgins.

Matthew 25 : 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Midnight = 12 which is the NUMBER OF PERFECTION

4 fold nature of yourself (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual) x 3 (the number of new life ) = 12 (perfection once enlightenment is reached in a human body)

1 = God

2 = God + Us Together

The solar plexus is surrounded by the 12 sympathetic nerves of the body. (diagrams for all in separate article)

 ( 12 disciples around Christ (Sun), Sun and 12 zodiac signs

5 = sacrifice = sacrificing the 5 senses 2 hands, 2 feet & side = 5 wounds of Christ.

This is also referenced in the following verse:

Psalm 119 : 62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Matthew 25 : 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

we have to use our senses wisely and discipline ourselves on how much energy we expend on them

Matthew 25 : 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

This comes from a Hindu passage : Lahita Vastava

“exercise yourselves to find the way of salvation and dispel with the lamp of wisdom the darkness of ignorance”

Matthew 25 : 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Jesus is saying that you cannot meet the bridegroom now but you can go and buy oil and then you can meet him

It will cost you 10 % of everything you have got = the left side or cardinal side of the brain which we sacrifice in meditation. In other words we will build up our energy reserves through meditation that we can finally see the bridegroom (Christ ) inside.

The light of Christ cannot penetrate (intercourse) with the bride unless they are naked (shed all their material baggage). He will place inside of them the incorruptible seed. They will then become spiritually pregnant and then give birth to the Christ.
